Villa Esperança is a traditional 3 bedroom villa located on a small urbanisation, just a couple of minutes’ drive from the popular seaside town of Carvoeiro. The villa offers sweeping views towards the mountains of Monchique and of the surrounding area.
The outdoor areas boast established gardens, a heated pool (pool heating costs extra), large patio with outdoor seating area, barbecue and covered parking.
The villa is equipped with air-conditioning, enclosed log fire, wi-fi and internet TV with UK channels. A cot and high-chair are available upon request.
Carvoeiro is a popular seaside town, ideal for family holidays, with many options for international dining out. Enjoy a gentle stroll along The Boardwalk, taking in spectacular views of the coastline. Boat trips exploring the stunning caves and grottos, leave regularly from the beach. During the summer months (June – September), the square is the perfect place to sit and enjoy a meal and drinks, whilst live music and dancing can be enjoyed every night, from the summer stage.
The accommodation comprises of a spacious living area which opens onto a large terrace overlooking the swimming pool, offering plenty of shade. The kitchen, with island, opens to the dining area. The master bedroom benefits from an en-suite shower room. Bedroom 2 and 3 are serviced by the family bathroom.
Tourist tax
Please note that on 13th April 2024 a new law was passed approving a new tourism tax (Taxa Municipal Turística de Lagoa). All guests aged 13 years and over are required to pay this tax. The amount is €2 per person per night during high season (April – October) and €1 per person per night during low season (November – March). There is a cap of 7 nights on the tax. Therefore for all reservations in excess of 7 nights, you still only pay the tax for 7

LOVELY VILLA
We had the most wonderful 10 nights stay at this beautiful villa. The location is so nice and quiet, but within short driving distance to the local towns. The pool and garden are perfect and so well kept, we paid for the pool to be heated and it was lovely at this time of year. The villa is so well equipped with everything you could ever need. Liz couldn’t do more, so friendly, helpful, informative and offered great recommendations of family friendly places to eat, and every message was replied to so quickly. We were a family of 6 from age 1 to 60 and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay We would definitely return and recommend Thank you for an amazing stay
Wonderful holiday
This property is beautiful, clean and spacious, with a wonderful outdoor space. We loved the heated pool, comfortable beds and well stocked kitchen. It was perfect for our family of 5. It’s located just on the edge of carvoeiro so we hired a car but ended up getting taxis into town most the time as they were so cheap and parking in town isn’t that easy in peak season. We had a day out at the slide and splash waterpark which was great fun and we really enjoyed the Praia grande beach in Ferragudo which was ideal for young children. Thank you for that recommendation. We had the best time and would definitely return.
A lovely homely villa
We stayed for two weeks and had a wonderful time. The villa is a traditional style in a peaceful location with a beautiful garden and pool area to enjoy the Algarve sunshine. We needed the pool heating as stayed in the Spring and it was well worth the money as we used it every day. The villa is very well equipped, clean, spacious and comfortable. A real home from home.
