Villa Concha is a fabulous 6 bedroom property on a large 6,500m2 plot comprising of a 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom villa with a separate 2 bedroom cottage with its own living room and kitchen. The cottage is connected by the covered terrace and bar area. This is an ideal child friendly villa for families or friends holidaying together.
Villa Concha is just a 10 minute walk from the beach and restaurants. Located between the quaint fishing village of Benagil with its pretty beach and restaurants and the popular holiday resort town of Carvoeiro with numerous shops, bars, restaurants and beaches.
Accommodation: The villa has 4 bedrooms 4 bathrooms, living area, dining area, kitchen contained in the main building and a further 2 bedrooms, living room, kitchenette and bathroom in a self contained cottage connected by the terrance and bar area. Indoor/outdoor open plan living is what this stunning villa is all about. Multiple terraces surround a barbecue and bar area with beer tap (a beer keg can be provided for an additional fee). The terrace overlooks the subtropical gardens and pool which has a fantastic water feature with waterfall, a slide, a bubble seat and sloping beach entrance. The pool can be heated for an additional charge. Next to the pool is a large grassed garden area for children to play and a safety fence around the pool for extra security. The villa is well equipped for children’s entertainment with football goal, ping pong table, table football, basketball net, volleyball, lawn bowls and badminton rackets.
Tourist tax
Please note that on 13th April 2024 a new law was passed approving a new tourism tax (Taxa Municipal Turística de Lagoa). All guests aged 13 years and over are required to pay this tax. The amount is €2 per person per night during high season (April – October) and €1 per person per night during low season (November – March). There is a cap of 7 nights on the tax. Therefore for all reservations in excess of 7 nights, you still only pay the tax for 7.

An exceptional villa for families
The villa was perfect for our family get-together. Its location strikes the ideal balance—close enough to the beach and town amenities for convenience, yet far enough to offer a peaceful, private retreat. The house was fully equipped with everything we needed to enjoy our stay to the fullest. The pool was absolutely stunning and the kids loved the slide feature. I highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing escape.
Excellent spacious villa
This villa was absolutely perfect for our family holiday. We were a group of 14 spanning all ages, and it suited us wonderfully. The bedrooms were spacious, comfortable, and well equipped, as were the kitchen and living areas, which made catering for such a large group easy and enjoyable. The pool was fantastic and provided hours of fun and relaxation. Liz and Andy were outstanding hosts—friendly, attentive, and incredibly communicative both before and throughout our stay, which made everything seamless. The villa is set in a peaceful area, yet a pleasant 15-20-minute walk to Benagil which has a couple of lovely restaurants and a nice beach. Carvoeiro is a short 5 minute drive away and Ubers were always available which made getting about very easy. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay—thank you so much.
A fantastic stay for families
We had a wonderful weeks stay at Villa Concha. We were met on arrival and given any information we needed. The separate annex was fantastic for my sister, husband and their 2 year old as they could have their own space. The children loved the pool, especially the slide. We were extremely glad that we had paid for heating as it was lovely. We had everything that we needed, the shampoo, conditioner and shower gels in each shower were appreciated as were the beach towels that we could use for around the pool. We didn't hire a car but I definitely think a car would be beneficial especially to get to the supermarket. We did use Ubers and these were so easy and reliable and not very expensive. We went into Careveiro a few times at night and had some lovely meals. We were hoping to go for a ride on the train that we had heard about but it hadn't started running yet. We took a boat ride from Benagil beach to see the caves and this was the highlight of our trip. A few beach bars are about a 15 minute walk away from the property at Benagil beach. Great communication with the owner. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay..
Absolutely wonderful
We were a family of 6 adults and 7 children who holidayed at this fabulous villa in August. The Villa was absolutely perfect for us. We really liked the layout with separate annexe and the pool area is gorgeous. The children just loved the pool. It was perfect for them to play in. The adults loved the bbq and bar with beer pump! Benagil is very close and we often walked there for lunch or an evening meal. We also used Uber taxis to go to Carvoeiro where there are many restaurants and bars and live music in the square at night. The nearby beaches are absolutely stunning. Highly recommend a boat trip to the nearby caves. We will most definitely be retuning again.
Great Villa and Location
If your looking for a great villa holiday in a fabulous location, close by car to local amenities, and stunning beaches, famous caves, great restaurants, yes this is the place to visit, the villa is spacious, lovely heated pool with Spa, and of course slide for the kids, suitable for all ages and comfortable for the 10 of us, everything you need to enjoy your holiday is on hand and the kids will be entertained. Liz was fantastic and took care of our booking and requests, the owners are also amenable and on hand if needed, recommended.
The Perfect Family Getaway
We stayed at The Villa Concha in October 2022. It was fabulous. The villa is well-equipped, very clean, and has everything you could wish for and more. The rooms and en-suites are large and nicely furnished and there is plenty of space for everyone to relax in. The main feature of the garden is a beautiful pool with waterslide, waterfall, and built in jacuzzi. There is also a covered bar and barbecue area, plus a table tennis table for the sporty. The villa is within easy reach of local shops, restaurants and beaches. A car is advised. The hosts, Paul and Cindy, were most helpful, as was the manageress, Liz. The whole family would like to thank them for making our Golden Anniversary a memorable success. We hope to return in the future and would highly recommend. The Hugheses
Fabulous 10/10!!
What can i say except WOW! The perfect villa for a family of 9, ages 75-3 yrs old. After 2 years of waiting due to covid regs, we finally made it and it was worth the wait, and would go back in a heartbeat. Beautiful villa and grounds! Everything you could possibly need, right down to buckets and spades and a potty for the young ones. Super air-con and tons of hot water to service a large party, and on adding the pool heating, i can only say it is the warmest pool ever! ive stayed on many villas before and the pool heating has never matched the Villa Concha's. The first shelf in the pool is perfect for a toddler, and the slide and bubble seat a win with the older kids and adults. The beer tap tops it all off, as is a must, and at a very reasonable cost!
