Villa Gemma is a stunning, modern villa, set in a peaceful location with mature sub tropical gardens, close to many beautiful beaches, a variety of bars and restaurants, shops, golf and tennis.
The nearest beach, Praia do Centianes, is just a 15 walk away and within 5 minutes drive there are many more fabulous beaches to choose from. The lighthouse bar and restaurant at Clube Golfemar with its panaromaic sea view and children’s play area is just a 5 minute walk away. A small supermarket at the Rocha Brava resort is within easy walking distance and there are numerous large supermarkets within 5 minutes drive.
The villa is ideal for groups or families sleeping 10-12. There are 5 bedrooms all with en-suites. One bedroom on the ground floor with a King size bed, three twin bedroom on the first floor and a master bedroom with king size bed and plasma tv also on the first floor. Doors lead from master bedroom onto a large balcony terrace with a lovely view over the pool and gardens and out to sea.
On the ground floor there is a modern, fully equipped kitchen and a large open plan lounge and dining area with patio doors opening out onto the terrace and pool area. The living room has a plasma television, cable tv with some english channels, a playstation 4, and cd/ dvd player, books.
Also on the ground floor is a double bedroom with en-suite and a children’s playroom with a football table, toy chest, bean bags and sofa bed, ideal to keep the kids entertained and out of the sun at the hottest part of the day! This room can be used as a 6th bedroom for children.
On the first floor there are 4 bedrooms all with ensuite.
The villa is air conditioned throughout and also has underfloor heating and a wood burner for the winter months.
The outside of the property centres around a large 12 x 6m kidney shaped swimming pool which can be heated for an additional fee.
Next to the pool is a covered terrace with a large dining table and chairs and table tennis Set back a little higher in the garden is a lit barbecue terrace area with a circular table and chairs, giving two alfresco dining options at this lovely property. There is also a lawned area providing a perfect area for children to play safely away from the poolside.
The villa is accessed by gates and is fully fenced in. It has electric roller shutters and alarm making it a safe and secure place to spend your holiday.

Super villa
Beautiful (doesn’t do it justice!) and huge house. Built to very high standards. Superbly furnished and appointed with everything you need. Delightful and lovely and warm heated pool. Fabulous villa for a family holiday
The Villa was ideal for our family holiday of six adults and three children under 3. The Villa is very well equipped and ideally located in a quiet area near the beautiful town of Carvoeiro. A few good restaurants within easy walking distance. The kitchen is very spacious and well equipped, the beds are all very comfy and the pool area very nice. Communication throughout the booking process with Liz was excellent, she was very helpful and responsive. Another useful tip - we arranged a shopping delivery for the day of our arrival with Apolonia, who were really excellent in meeting our requirements. We all had a really fabulous holiday and will look to return.

Fantastic house, everything we needed the hol has been postponed twice due to covid but Liz was so helpful in finding us the right date for this year. would highly recommend.
Great House
Just back from a great visit to Villa Gemma. It really is top class. Extremely roomy both inside and out. Huge kitchen and living area. There were 6 adults but had loads of space to enjoy ourselves. Arrangements with Liz were very easy and she responded very quickly on all matters. Cindy & Gary supplied an info pack before we arrived which again was very helpful as we hadn't been to the area before.
Amazing Holiday
We travelled to Villa Gemma in October 2019 as two families each with two children. The Villa is located at the end of a cul-de-sac and is in a very quiet area. The villa was extremely spacious and clean with a great open plan layout all leading out to the pool area. We opted for pool heating and was definitely worth paying extra for as it meant the children could be in the pool all day if they wanted! Plenty of seating options for dining either inside or outside. Liz always responded very quickly to any e-mails and also provided a great recommendation for car hire from Faro Airport. Paul and Cindy (villa managers) provided lots of very useful information and were always available by phone or e-mail if required. Would not hesitate in recommending Villa Gemma or indeed Blue Shores Algarve.
